The story of a home.
Not a brand.

Each piece is made one by one.
And yours will be unique to you.

The founder

Corbelli is my mother's maiden name. That's why a piece only leaves the workshop when it's perfect, and not a moment before.

The Origins

The name comes from his mother.
The rest comes from the coast.

Maison Corbelli is named after Alexandre Corbelli's mother's surname. This is the starting point, and it sets the standard: a piece leaves the workshop on the day it truly deserves that name. The brand was founded in Nice, and it remains there today.

Nice provides the rest: the light, the rhythm, an elegance that is worn daily and noticed upon a second glance. The workshop, meanwhile, is in Spain, on the same sea, within reach of the tannery that supplies the leather. One coast, two shores, a few hours' drive: the leather is worked where it is tanned.

Four moments, in the order they happened

2022 - Present

  1. 2022

    The name

A leather goods company takes the maiden name of its founder’s mother. This is the first choice, and it dictates all subsequent ones.

  2. 2023

    Elie

The first piece. A tailored silhouette, full-grain calfskin, clean lines. It sets the tone for everything that follows.

  3. 2024

    The workshop

Manufacturing is set up in Spain, close to the tannery. The leather and the labor come from the same country.

  4. 2026

    Today

Five pieces. Made one by one, in small batches, at prices that remain the same all year round.

Three Decisions, Taken Once and for All

  • A part is added when it is missing

Five pieces today. Each one arrived because something was missing at home: a shape, a format, a use. The next one will come when that is true again.

  • One room at a time

Each bag is cut, assembled, and finished by hand in the same workshop. The rhythm of the house is that of working hands, and availability follows suit.

  • Leather shows

Full-grain calfskin, kept as is: the grain, the pores, the variations from one skin to another. It darkens, it develops a patina, it bears the marks of the places you take it.

The subject

Full-grain calfskin,
left as is.

Full-grain leather is the top layer of the hide, left as it comes: with its grain, pores, and variations from one hide to another. It catches the light, darkens over months, and bears the marks of where you take it. The leather comes from Spain, as does the workshop.

FAQ

What we're asked most often

Another question? Write to the workshop, someone will answer you within 24 hours. Not customer service: the workshop.

Where are our parts made?

The house is in Nice, on the French Riviera. The bags are handmade in our family workshop in Ubrique, Spain, where the leather is also tanned. The leather doesn't travel around the world before becoming a bag.

What are the delivery times?

Your part leaves within 2 to 4 working days, if it is still in the workshop, the deadline will be indicated.

Can I return an item?

Yes, within 14 days. The item must be returned unworn and undamaged. The refund will be processed upon receipt and verification by the workshop.

How to care for leather?

A care instruction notice should be provided with your item. If you have misplaced it, please inquire on this page.

Why are there so few units available?

Because every piece is handmade, the number of bags available is limited to what our hands can produce, not a quota set to manufacture desire. When a piece is unavailable, it simply means it is currently being made.

Are you having a sale?

The price of a piece is determined by the leather, time, and craftsmanship it requires, and none of that diminishes with the seasons. Discounting a piece would be to admit it was worth less than what we asked for it the day before.

Each piece counts. No two are alike.
